Smoother training rides with the Flo 30!

Postby Billyk24 » October 4th, 2014, 12:16 pm

I took the advice of the Flo "owners" via this and other forums and made the switch to a wider rim (Flo 30) and 25c width tire (Pro4 endurance). I'm running 80psi for my 175lb weight and noted a significant difference with "comfort" over the poorer conditioned secondary Western Pennsylvania road surfaces. Even ran one triathlon race with this front wheel setup (usually used the Flo 60 front wheel but with 23c width tires) over these roads. Very happy. Have to admit, I also wanted to a wide rear training wheel but Flo doesn't have 32 spoke rear wheels so I had a LBS customized a rear Shimano 11speed hub with the needed wide rim. Thanks guys. I highly recommend such a setup.

Thanks for the kind words. We are happy to hear you are enjoying the new wheels. Just so you know, we sell a 32 hole rim that you can build up if you like.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Take care,
