Flo Testing for UCI Approval?

Postby jdurbin6 » July 9th, 2017, 8:08 am

Is Flo Cycling currently pursuing certifying their wheels to UCI compliance?

I checked the most current UCI approved wheel list, and Flo is not on there.

According to UCI's website, a manufacturer needs to perform rupture testing according to UCI's procedure and send a confirmation of a successful test to UCI in order for the product to be approved.

Sounds simple enough - is Flo planning to do this?

Are there plans to get the wheels UCI compliant?

It's an important requirement for me so that I can race with them (I'm sure many others are thinking the same!),
so I'd love to hear what Flo is planning.
