Was there any absolute resolution to this issue? My rear wheel got bumped out of whack and after truing the wheel, I have since had a cranking noise coming from it. Is it an issue of just cleaning/lubing the spokes or do I need to send the wheel in to get trued properly?

Thank you,
Jesse

Jesse,

If the wheel is true then the noise is not likely coming from the spokes. I'd go here http://flocycling.com/howto.php and follow the "Freehub Maintenance" video.

Let me know if that helps,
