Warp Drive Sound

What part of the wheel design creates the warp drive sound when it gets up to speed? I have the FLO 60 and have ridden on other wheels (ENVE, ZIPP FC) and those wheels doesn't make any sound. Just curious. I actually like the sound and have gotten compliment for it.

Haha! I've never heard it referred to at "Warp Drive Sound". I think I'll use that. I believe it is caused by the resonance of the hollow fairing. Kind of like an acoustic guitar.

I would agree, I have a set of Mavic Cosmic Carbone SL's, same concept, alum. rim and carbon fairing. Warp Drive Indeed.
