Hey Chris,

Any idea when the aero data will be up for the 30's? Looks like an awsome trainer/windy/hilly race day wheel!

Any expectations on where they're going to fall compared to the 60's?

Thanks, Dave

Dave,

We are trying to get to the wind tunnel next week or the week after. After we compile the data we should have it up and ready! The CFD data that we posted on our blog seems to be very promising. It's tough to say where it will fall with respect to the FLO 60 before we actually get to the tunnel.

Take care,

Thanks Chris,

I love what you guys are doing with these wheels, I forsee a whole stable of flo wheels for my wife and I in my basement(gear room). I'm on of those guys(so is my wife) that are into everything from Ice&rock climbing/mtneering to WW kayaking so gear is my life. Basically if it involves gravity/nature/physical hardship we are into it.

Cycling wheels are so expensive I have had to get second hand peformance stuff off ebay. Now I can get a full quiver of great wheels for my local tri races and still have the cash for climbing/boating trips!

I'll keep an eye out for the tunnel data,

Dave

I was wondering if the name steepcreeker may have had anything to do with kayaking! Thank you very much for the kind words. It's been our goal since day one to offer high quality, affordable race wheels and we wanted the FLO 30 to be no exception.

The wind tunnel data will be up as soon as possible.

Take care,
Chris Thornham

So, any news from the wind tunnel? I'm just bursting with anticipation and can't wait to see how the 30's and 60's compare so I can come to a final decision about what will clad my Cervelo ;)

PsychoMike,

The wind tunnel numbers should be up within a week. The FLO 30 did better than we both expected. We also have some really great new data on the FLO 60, 90 and DISC using the Conti GP 4000s tire!

It's coming soon. We promise.

I can't wait to see the data concerning the Conti GP 4000s tires as I just put those on my new Flo 60's. So far I've put just over 100 miles on that combo.

Rayman, the data is up (in the blog section). The Conti's sure work well with the Flo wheels.

Jon and Chris: Awesome job with the whole line up....looking at those numbers it is quite apparent you've worked your butts off to make a dang fine product.

So, obviously, the next question becomes: When with the production Flo30's be available? I need to know how long I have to decide between the 30s and the 60s (though I am really leaning toward the 30s for my S2 at this point).
