Applying the rim tape

Postby Kkaufer » March 8th, 2013, 1:40 pm

Just got my new 60/90s :)
Question, since this is the first time I'm putting the rim tape on a wheel on my own: It seems that one side of the tape has a slight pattern to it, while the other is smooth. So which side should be facing the wheel and which side the tube? Any other tricks/tips i should be aware of before trying to assemble wheel, tape, tube and tires? thank you!

Hey Guys,
I'm in the same boat, have never applied rim tape before, would appreciate any advice on doing this, is the tape supposed to be permanently stuck down around the rim ? Thanks
