Disc brake-ready Wheels

Postby kobec » September 6th, 2016, 2:05 am

Hi, I was just wondering if you were going to start making wheels that can be used with disc brake soon? I did a search and found a response you gave back in 2015 saying that you would likely do it next year i.e. 2016.

Any updates since back then? Will we see disc brake-ready wheels in the fall? :)

Yes! We are working on that now and hope to have them available in the next couple of months. Just finalizing the details.

Thanks for the patience.

Take care,

Good news that you are working on disc brake versions, as that's a strong possibility for my next bike and wheels.

Have you done any modelling of the aerodynamics of disc brakes? I'm assuming they are worse but interested in any views on how bad? [And accepting the comparison point could be anything from exposed regular brakes to those hidden in forks etc].

We have not done any modeling on the aerodynamics of disc brakes. It may be something we look at in the future, now that we will soon have the product.
