So, I don't have my own FLO wheels yet. I have been researching rims for quite a while because I like to be sure I know what I'm getting out of my purchases... I am currently saving up my spending money for some FLO30s for my R3. I am convinced that those are the right wheel for the type of riding that I do, and if I ever need to make some upgrades, FLO has all my viable options covered. I like your story, I am impressed by your efforts to push yourselves, and appreciate that even as a young company you do a program like Bike for a kid. I've been reading the Blog entries, and viewing the videos, and as a landscape painter... I was inspired yet again by the images in those. So, I thought I'd share my current pair of FLOs:

Seeing those rolling landscapes had an incredible sense of nostalgia attached to them for me~ I spent a lot of time out your way with my Grandfather when I was growing up. I decided I needed to put those inspirations to paper. They are each 15"x22" in size. Figured this was as good of a place as any to share them and my thoughts. I look forward to keeping up with what is happening with your research and to purchasing my first FLOs in the near future.

These are amazing! I'm very, very impressed. I can't thank you enough for painting them and sharing them with us. It's cool that the area we have come to call home, and the place where FLO was created, has so much meaning for you as well.

Thanks again!

I am blown away by your paintings. They are really great. Thank you for sharing them here on the forum. If you wanted to part with them I'd be happy to talk to you about taking them off your hands.

Take care,

Thank you very much for the kind words. Returning is something I want to do... this time with my kids and wife (and bike!). I'd like to visit some of the areas that made my time with him so memorable.

Wow, thanks Jon... I'm glad you enjoy my work! I love working on landscapes, which is one reason cycling appeals to me. A lot of my work is inspired by areas I ride past. Incorporating the riders in these pieces has just felt like a natural extension to what I have been developing in my work. It's been a nice vignette that I would like to explore in my spare time.

Feel free to message me or email me about the art. I would be honored to give it a good home with the people who inspired it. I attempted to message you, but don't have message capabilities yet, due to being a new member.
