Alternative to Flo Carbon Brake Pads?

Postby wernerba » June 14th, 2017, 4:55 pm

Currently I see that your store is sold out of the Shimano Carbon Brake Pads.

Given that you require your own brake pads to be used with the Flo Carbon Wheels so as to not void the warranty, I am naturally reluctant to purchase an alternative.

Having said that,

- is there an alternative manufacturer/model that I could use that would not void the warranty?
- OR, when do you expect your own pads to be back in stock?

I will be competing in the Haute Route Alps in August (20K meters of climbing during the week, with an equivalent amount of descending), so want to make sure I have a spare set of pads to bring with me.

Thanks,
Werner

p.s. BTW, I absolutely love my Flo 45 Carbon Wheels. :-)

Werner,

Thanks for writing. Our brake pads are actually back in stock now. We are doing some tests right now to see if we can recommend any other brake pads. If we find any other suitable options, we'll let everyone know.

Take care,
