Stem length and 45 mm rims

Postby kimike » June 9th, 2017, 11:33 am

I have seen lots of posts regarding 60 and 90 but not on 45s. The existing post suggests you simply add 20 mm to 30 mm to get your stem length. Three things:

1. I presume the logic applies to 45s in the same way: 45 + 20 mm or 30 mm = 65 to 75 mm total length. Is this correct?
2. I am a newb to valve extenders so don't understand if the extender needs to consider whether it conflicts with the valve hole of the rim. Specifically do I need to get a valve length shorter or longer than then the rim depth so the valve extender doesn't conflict
3. How long are the valve extenders provided with the rims?

Thanks and looking forward to getting my new rims :-)

The FLO 45s ship with 60mm tubes in the box. With the 60mm tubes, you will not need to use valve extenders. That is what I would recommend.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Take care,

Chris
