2016 Disc shape compared to old

Postby Zeatrix » September 13th, 2016, 7:24 am

Hi,

I own a 2015 Disc wheel that does not fit my TT bikes frame (Cube Aerium). I was wondering if the 2016 version has a similar shape, in particular when it comes to the none drive side since that is where I have problems. Is the 2016 model convex shaped on the non drive side or is it more flat like other brands disc wheels? Is there any difference between the AC and CC versions?

Regards,

Mike

Thanks for writing. The shape of the new 2016 FLO DISC is similar to the old model and certainly not flat like other disc wheels. The AC and CC versions have the same profile/shape, with the only difference being the rim. The AC version has an aluminum clincher rim, and the CC version has a carbon clincher rim. The biggest difference would be compliance, with the CC version being slightly more compliant than the AC version.

I hope that helps,
