Postby saw777 » February 21st, 2016, 11:24 pm

i purchased a set of Flo wheels a couple of years back, one was a Flo 90 10 spd, wondered if it is possible to change it to an 11 spd ?, as I am upgrading my bike.
Thanks for your advice.

It sure is! Here are the steps...

1. Buy the new 11 speed freehub here: http://www.flocycling.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=133

2. Follow the installation and maintenance steps. I recommend the maintenance steps since you likely already have some mileage on your wheels. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aj6tBZwNKCw

If you have any additional questions, please just let me know.

Take care,

I have a 2013 disc with a Shimano/SRAM freehub, so changing the freehub to an 11 spd isn't possible according to your site. Is it possible to send the disc in to replace the old hub with an 11 spd hub? How much would that cost?

Unfortunately, we cannot replace hubs in the FLO DISC wheel. Would you be willing to give me a call sometime? 702-581-1412. I'd like to discuss this with you.

Hi, I have the 2013 FLO 90 wheel and recently upgraded my bike to an 11 speed. I purchased the shimano 11 speed hub and replaced the old 10 speed hub. Unfortunately, the wheel is now "out of dish" and I am getting some rubbing on the left brake pad. Is there a way to fix this other than widening the brakes? thanks.

Thanks for writing. Changing the freehub should have no effect on the dish. When did you purchase the freehub? Did you follow our installation video?
