Brake Recommendation

Postby rp_collins » August 23rd, 2015, 12:01 pm

Hi,

I have a set of Flo 30 and I have fount the rear wheel rubs the brake pads when I have to get out of the saddle on steep climbs. I have Tektro R580 brakes and have adjusted them out as wide as possible. Do you have an brake recommendations that might work better.

Thanks for writing. Can I ask if the brakes are rubbing on both sides or just one?

Take care,

Hi Chris,

Sorry for being late getting back. I have centered the brakes. I believe they are rubbing on both sides. Hard to look back and check.

Have you removed the spacers on the inside of the brake pads?

Had not thought of that. Will give it a try.
