Pricing

Postby menace101 » October 31st, 2013, 2:07 pm

Hey everyone,

Can someone give me more accurate details on how the wheels are priced? I'm looking to get the Clydesdale versions of the Front 60 and Rear 90, and undecided on the ceramic bearings (partially to support Bike-For-A-Kid). I'm wondering if the Clydesdale will increase the price quoted on the Shop page, and how much extra the ceramic bearings are.

Thanks!

Hi Menace,

All you pay for the clydesdale build is a few extra grams. The ceramic bearing upgrade is $100 per wheel. I believe the last pre-order also had a small price increase if you selected an 11-speed hub.

What LOW2000 said is correct. I will elaborate a little. Wheel prices are as follows...

FLO 30 Stainless Bearings, Standard or Clydesdale Build
Front: $224, Rear: $274

FLO 30 Ceramic Bearings, Standard or Clydesdale Build
Front: $324, Rear: $374

FLO 60 and 90 Stainless Bearings, Standard or Clydesdale Build
Front: $424, Rear: $474

FLO 60 and 90 Ceramic Bearings, Standard or Clydesdale Build
Front: $524, Rear: $574

FLO DISC Stainless Bearings, Standard or Clydesdale Build
$599

FLO DISC Ceramic Bearings, Standard or Clydesdale Build
$699

Any wheel Campy or 11spd Upgrade: $30.

By 2014 all rear FLO wheels with the exception of the FLO DISC (we are still finalizing that wheel) will come standard with an 11spd Shimano/SRAM hub. This means there will not be a $30 upgrade for that option.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Take care,
Chris Thornham

Sweet! That's pretty straightforward.

Out of curiosity, how did you guys manage to get the Flo 60 and 90 to be the same price?
